Do you already have a Google login? You do if you have gmail, or use Google Calendar.

If you don't have a Google account, create one.

Once you have a Google account, you can choose whether you want the Classic Google whenever you log in (that's what I prefer), or the iGoogle interface (which can be your RSS reader, if you wish).
